NFA / Form 4 Support Notice
Dog Will Hunt Armaments LLC (“Dog Will Hunt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides shop-side support for NFA / Form 4 intake, record handling, and customer communication.
This notice is intended to explain what the shop helps with, what information may be required, how records and serialized items are handled, and what customers should expect from the process. It should be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.
1. Scope of Support
Dog Will Hunt may provide shop-side assistance related to NFA / Form 4 intake, customer information gathering, basic process guidance, secure handling of applicable serialized items, recordkeeping, and final release procedures where applicable.
This page is not a promise of government approval, filing speed, or outcome. It is a notice explaining the shop’s role in handling the customer-facing and recordkeeping side of the process.
2. Customer Information We May Require
Customers may be asked to provide complete and accurate information needed to support intake and documentation, including:
- Full legal name
- Current contact information
- Residential address
- Country of citizenship
- Filing type, including individual or trust where applicable
- Government-issued identification details
- Additional non-U.S. citizen information where applicable
- Responses to eligibility questions required by the intake process
Customers are responsible for ensuring the information they provide is truthful, complete, and current.
3. Eligibility and Customer Certifications
The intake process may include legal eligibility questions and customer certifications tied to the information provided.
If a customer provides incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate information, the shop may pause the process until the issue is clarified.
The shop does not make legal representations for the customer and does not promise that submitted information will result in approval.
4. Serialized Items, Intake, and Logging
Serialized items received by the shop are tied to intake and shop records so the item remains traceable from receipt through release.
The shop may document identifying details such as make, model, caliber, serial number, installed accessories, and visible condition, and may photograph the item and any relevant markings or pre-existing condition as part of the intake record.
Serialized items are logged without delay according to the shop’s recordkeeping and compliance workflow.
5. Secure Storage and Chain of Custody
Items and associated records are stored in secure areas with access limited to authorized personnel.
The shop uses job-number-based or comparable record control so the customer, paperwork, and item remain tied together throughout the process.
No serialized item should be left unsecured or released outside the documented workflow.
6. Paperwork and Recordkeeping
NFA-related files, ATF-related records, and other supporting paperwork are maintained as part of the shop’s compliance and retention workflow.
Paperwork may include intake forms, supporting documentation, release records, and other records required by the shop or by applicable law.
Digital and physical records may be stored in secure, access-controlled systems consistent with the shop’s recordkeeping practices.
7. No Approval Promises
Dog Will Hunt does not guarantee approval, filing speed, transfer timing, or the actions of any government agency, carrier, outside vendor, trust preparer, or third party.
Any estimate, discussion, or informal statement about timing is only a general expectation and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed result.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for reading forms carefully, providing accurate information, responding promptly to requests for clarification, and bringing required identification or supporting information when needed.
If the customer is filing under a trust or other structure, the customer is responsible for making sure the correct supporting information is provided to the shop when applicable.
9. Pickup and Release
Before any item is released, the shop may verify the customer’s identity against the intake and associated records.
Required paperwork must be completed and filed before release, and the final disposition is logged according to the shop’s compliance workflow.
The shop may walk the customer through the release process and any practical next-step information relevant to the item being picked up.
10. Records Retention
NFA-related records, intake documents, and associated digital files may be retained according to legal requirements and the shop’s document-retention practices.
When records become eligible for destruction, physical records may be shredded and digital records may be securely erased according to the shop’s record-destruction workflow.
