Who Can Buy

To complete a firearm purchase through Dog Will Hunt Armaments LLC, you must:

• Be 21+ to purchase handguns and 18+ to purchase rifles or shotguns.
• Have a valid government-issued photo ID for all firearm purchases.
• Be prepared to complete ATF Form 4473 truthfully.
• Pass the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) check unless exempt by law.

In addition, buyers must not be prohibited from possessing firearms under federal or state law. This generally includes, but is not limited to:

• Individuals with certain felony convictions or qualifying domestic violence convictions.
• Individuals subject to certain restraining or protective orders.
• Individuals who have been adjudicated as prohibited or otherwise disqualified under applicable law.

Straw purchases (buying a firearm on behalf of someone who is not eligible, or who is the true intended recipient) are strictly prohibited. You are responsible for knowing your own legal status and answering all questions honestly at the time of purchase.

In-Store Firearm Purchases

1. Select your firearm and confirm it meets your intended use and legal eligibility.
2. Present a valid government-issued photo ID.
3. Complete ATF Form 4473 in the shop.
4. We submit your details for the NICS background check.
5. Upon approval, you complete payment and take possession.

We will transfer firearms only to the person who completed the purchase and background check.

Online Firearm Purchases

We make online transfers transparent with a visual transfer flow. All firearms ship to your chosen FFL dealer.

1. Provide the FFL details at checkout
2. Transfer fee: $25 (charged at pickup)
3. We confirm transfer status via email

Online firearm purchases must be shipped to a licensed FFL dealer. The customer must provide the receiving dealer’s FFL information at checkout. Transfer fees are set by the receiving FFL. Our shop charges a $25 transfer fee.

Special Orders & Transfers

For special orders and incoming transfers (including online purchases and private-party shipments to our FFL):

1. You or the seller arrange to ship the firearm to Dog Will Hunt Armaments LLC.
2. We log the firearm into our FFL inventory when it arrives.
3. We notify you that the firearm is ready for transfer and pickup.
4. You complete ATF Form 4473 and the NICS background check in person.
5. We will transfer firearms only to the person who completed the purchase and background check.

Transfer fees are set by the receiving FFL. Our shop charges a $25 transfer fee, due at pickup.
